Semi-reactive or reactive soaps are products used in the wire and tube industry before cold drawing. After the wire rod or coil wires are cleaned, they enter the zinc phosphate coating bath. After zinc phosphating, the wires to be cold drawn in the rolling mill are taken into a semi-reactive soap bath and the surface of the wire is coated with soap to ensure that it passes through the rolling mill easily. In the same way, the zinc phosphate coated pipe passes through the reactive soap bath before the cold drawing process.
