It is used to reduce the pH value within the desired limits. For disinfection to be effective, the pH value must be between 7.2 - 7.6.
Method of Use:
If automatic measuring devices are available, the system is set to pH 7.2 - 7.6 and automatically doses as needed.
In direct application, 0.5 kg should be used in soft waters and 1 kg in hard waters to reduce pH by 0.1 unit.
