Dipping degreasing baths generally consist of alkaline degreasing chemicals. With high alkalinity and temperature, degreasing is performed on the metal. It is suitable for use before iron phosphate, zinc phosphate and manganese phosphate coating baths. Alkaline degreasing products are also used before current or electroless zinc plating (galvanizing) baths and surface cleaning after the process is of great importance for coating quality. Degreasing additives can also be used to increase the effectiveness of such baths.
Method of Use:
It is a chemical used to remove oil and impurities by dipping. It is applied at 3-5% concentration, at a temperature of 60 - 70 °C and for 5 - 8 minutes.
