Alkaline degreasing can be applied by different methods such as spray, immersion, ultrasonic. It is appropriate for iron, steel, aluminum, zinc alloy, copper and brass. Although it is trouble-free for iron and steel, it may be necessary to prevent corrosion when cleaning metals such as aluminum and brass. Alkaline degreasers generally operate at a temperature range of 50-95°C. Effective cleaning may not occur at lower temperatures. Therefore, the temperature of the process solution is important.
Method of Use:
It is applied at a concentration of 3-10%, at a temperature of 70 - 90 °C and for 5 - 8 minutes.
