Geothermal Water Reclamation

The minerals contained in the geothermal fluid precipitate and form deposits in production and recharge wells, pipelines and surface equipment in geothermal plants. These deposits are largely formed by the precipitation of calcium carbonate, silica and sulfate minerals due to high pH and temperature conditions. Calcium carbonate inhibits silica and sulfate, preventing their precipitation and preventing deposits. It is produced from a mixture of phosphonates and polymers with high calcium tolerance. It can be used in high dosage in high calcium environment if required. Effective up to 250 0C temperature.

Method of Use:
It is dosed through the supply equipment to the point at which flash vapor is formed. The dosing rate varies depending on the character of the well water. Protective clothing, gloves, glasses and mask should be used during application.
