It is a boiler water additive. It increases the pH value in boiler water and stabilizes the corrosive environment caused by low pH. It is also used as neutralization material after cleaning with acid.
Method of Use:
It is dosed to the boiler suction line, condensate tank or directly to the boiler with a dosing pump. It is applied by monitoring the pH value of boiler water. The ideal boiler water pH value range is 9 - 10.5. When the pH value falls below 9, 250 ml per ton of water. It is measured again by dosing. If the boiler water pH value is within the normal range of 9 - 10.5, the dosing process is completed. If not, the dosing process is repeated until the pH value reaches normal limits. Protective clothing, gloves, glasses, mask should be used during application and the environment should be ventilated.
