Boiler water additive. It amorphizes the crystalline structure of lime-forming minerals in water and prevents them from adhering to the boiler and pipe surface. Thanks to the oxygen receptors included, it provides protection against corrosion on the boiler surface and pipe surface. Protects the lines against carbonic acid corrosion by increasing the pH value in the steam line. It is sufficient for boiler water conditioning program. It does not require additional product.
Method of Use:
It is dosed to the boiler suction line, condensate tank or directly to the boiler with a dosing pump. The first dosage amount for a boiler that has not used conditioning chemicals before is 200 grams for 1 ton of boiler water. Then, it is dosed 50 - 100 grams for every 1 ton of water. (While calculating the dosing rates, it is assumed that the boiler is supplied with evaporator water. Hardness value is considered as 10 ppm. Dosing amount varies according to the quality of the supply water)
Recommended values for boiler water:
P.Alkalinity: 100 – 300 ppm
pH : 9 – 10,5
Chloride : < 300 ppm
If chloride and p.alkalinity values are greater than recommended, the vessel should be adjusted
Recommended values for steam return lines:
pH : 8,2 – 9
Physical Properties:
Appearance : Light yellow liquid
Density : 1,00 – 1,10 gr/cm3
pH : 10,5 – 11,5
Flash Point : None
Corrosive Effect : In pure contact, it can have a corrosive effect on all kinds of metals.
