It is a boiler water additive. It breaks the crystal structure of lime-forming minerals in the water and amorphizes them, preventing them from sticking to the boiler and pipe surface. Thanks to its pH adjusting feature, it prevents corrosion formation.
Method of Use:
It is supplied to the system from the condensate tank. The first dosage amount for a boiler that has not used conditioning chemicals before is 100 grams for 1 ton of boiler water. Then 20 - 30 grams is dosed for every 1 ton of water.
Recommended values for boiler water:
P.Alkalinite : 100 – 300 ppm
pH : 9 – 10,5
Chloride : < 300 ppm
If chloride and p.alkalinity values are greater than recommended, the vessel should be adjusted
Physical Properties:
Appearance : Light yellow liquid
Density : 1,65 – 1,75 gr/cm3
pH : >13
Flash Point : None
Corrosive Effect : In pure contact, it can have a corrosive effect on all kinds of metals.
