It is an amine-based product designed as a corrosion inhibitor in steam lines. It protects the lines against carbonic acid and oxygen corrosion by increasing the pH value in the steam line. It provides extra protection by creating a film layer on the walls of the steam line.
Method of Use:
It is dosed to the steam collector or condensate tank with a dosing pump. The dosage amount should be adjusted so that the condensate return water pH value is 8.3 - 9. If the condensate return water pH value is lower than 8.3, the dosage amount should be increased. Dosing 125 grams per ton of water for the first use, then 25 - 50 grams per ton of water added to the system will provide the ideal pH value in your condensate line.
