It is sodium hypochlorite used for disinfection in domestic water, waste water, swimming pools and cooling towers. It has 10 - 15% active chlorine ratio.
Method of Use:
It is given to water tanks, waste water tanks, cooling towers and swimming pool equalization tanks manually or with a dosing pump. For the conditioning of domestic water tanks, it is sufficient to add 10 - 20 gr. to 1 ton of water. For the conditioning of wastewater tanks, it is sufficient to add 50 - 60 gr. to 1 ton of water. According to drinking water standards, free chlorine value should not exceed 0.5 ppm. Free chlorine is then measured regularly and added again if necessary. It should never be mixed with chemicals containing acid. Protective gloves and equipment should be used during application.
Control Values:
Free chlorine (for swimming pools): 0,5 – 2 ppm
Free chlorine (for potable water tanks): 0,5 – 2 ppm
Free chlorine (for wastewater tanks): 0.5 - 5 ppm
Free chlorine (for drinking water tanks): < 0.5 ppm
