Passivating Liquid

It is used for the formulation of a protective passive oxide layer (passivation) on stainless steel surfaces after pickling. The product can also be diluted and used for cleaning parts and surfaces made of aluminum and its alloys.

Method of Use:
It can be applied by circulation, brushing, mopping, wiping with a hard sponge or dipping. It should not be diluted with water. 1 kg formula produces a protective layer on an area of approximately 12 m2. Circulation method is applied for passivization of pipelines and tank surfaces. The unit to be cleaned is filled and circulated for approximately 2 hours. At the end of the application, the unit should be emptied and rinsed with pure water. Application time should be 15 minutes for brushing, mopping and wiping methods. Rinse with pure water after application. The dipping method is used when both internal and external surfaces are to be passivated. The formula should be filled into a plastic or plastic coated tub and the unit to be applied should be kept in the tub for 15 minutes. After the application, rinse with pure water. The above methods can be used for cleaning aluminum surfaces. 10% solution should be used in the application. When discharging cleaning waste after application, it should be neutralized with CK ALK or derivative. Corrosive in contact with all metals except stainless steel. Protective clothing, gloves, mask should be used during application and the environment should be ventilated..
