There is friction during the removal of chips from the workpiece in machining. As a result of this friction, the resulting heat has negative effects on both the workpiece and the cutting tool. Cutting fluids are used to get rid of these effects, to eliminate or minimize this heat at the time of cutting.
Negative Effects of Cutting Heat
Positive Effects of Cutting Fluid
In order for cutting fluids in CNC machine tools not to form rust and bacteria and not to cause irritation to the operator, the pH value should be between 8 and 9.5. In cases where the pH value is not taken into consideration, bacteria formation (stinking) may occur in the system. Stinking occurs after the number of bacteria reaches 107 pcs/ml and a bactericide is added to the emissions to deal with this situation. Biocide should be added to the emissions at regular intervals in order to prevent bacterial growth in the system and therefore to prevent stinking. If the emissions cause even a small rust, it should be replaced immediately. Otherwise, irreparable rust problems may occur in CNC machine parts and processed parts.
Excessive foaming in cutting fluids, for example in CNC lathes, can prevent sufficient fluid from reaching the cutting zone, thus reducing lubricity. Carefully formulated products have anti-foaming additives, so foaming problems do not occur. Nevertheless, in case of foaming problems, foam extinguisher should be added and the cause of the foam should be identified and eliminated.

Method of Use: The product is economical thanks to its concentrated formula. It can be diluted between 1% and 3%.
