Defoamers are chemical additives that reduce or prevent foam formation in industrial process waters. Defoamers are used to eliminate problems related to both surface foam and air trapped in the liquid. It is used, beet washing and process in sugar production at Water and Waste Water Treatment Facilities. It is also used as antifoam in some detergents.
Method of Use:
It is used in proportions between 1 % and 5 %.
